Logistics specialist

Our client is looking for a Logistics Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the right level of stock across their European warehouses and coordinating the flow of goods from production sites to warehouses and customers.

In this role, you will:

• Manage stock replenishment for the client’s warehouses based on agreed safety stock levels, forecasts and actual demand.
• Coordinate deliveries from production sites around the world, taking production lead times, transportation times and the current logistics situation into account.
• Monitor stock levels and make sure they remain within agreed limits while maintaining healthy inventory turnover.
• Review stock agreements and commitments regularly and flag any situations where agreed requirements are not being met.
• Handle customer claims in cooperation with the Customer Support team, as well as internal claims.
• Set up new stock items in the ERP system and ensure the relevant data is maintained correctly.
• Process and invoice warehouse orders for the client’s warehouses.
• Receive goods into the ERP system and compare warehouse stock data between the client’s ERP and customers’ systems.
• Coordinate approved express orders and follow up on their delivery.
• Monitor delivery status in internal systems and follow up on any delays or issues.
• Monitor and analyze ATP (Available to Promise) rules in the ERP system and report any discrepancies or issues to the relevant colleagues.
• Work closely with different teams, including Operations (planners, shipping and quality), Warehouse Coordinators, Sales and Customer Support, as well as external transportation providers.
• Keep the Demand Planning Manager informed about potential issues, such as discrepancies in warehouse stock levels, breaches of ATP rules or other logistics-related risks.
