As a Logistics Engineer / Planner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing logistics processes from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, greenfield experience, possess excellent analytical skills, and be committed to continuous process improvement.
Your tasks:
- Process Design and Optimization: Design, develop, and implement efficient logistics processes that enhance supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop data-driven solutions.
- Warehouse Layout and Design: Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize layout and design, improving material flow and storage efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies for effective inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and cycle counting.
- Automation and Technology Integration: Identify opportunities for automation and technology solutions to streamline logistics processes, such as the implementation of warehouse management systems and other progressive technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department, utilizing Lean methodologies.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to optimize inbound logistics, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain responsiveness.

- Education (degree) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with implementing automation solutions in logistics operations.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Engineer or in a similar role within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
- Familiarity with Lean methodology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
