As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing production processes within the mechanical engineering manufacturing industry.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and meet quality standards and timelines.

You will collaborate closely with various departments, including production, procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to develop comprehensive production plans that align with organizational goals and customer requirements

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components needed for production.
  • Analyze production capacity, constraints, and resource availability to optimize production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Work closely with production supervisors and floor managers to ensure smooth execution of production plans and resolve any issues
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on production status, performance metrics, and any issues impacting production schedules.
