Job description, responsibilities and duties:
Develop and implement safety programs and policies in alignment with local regulations and industry standards.
Compliance Assurance:
• Stay current on safety regulations and standards in Central Europe and ensure operations comply with all applicable laws.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Incident Investigation:
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
Emergency Response Planning:
• Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols.
• Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure readiness for emergencies.
Hazard Identification and Control:
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify and assess potential safety hazards associated with activities.
• Implement control measures to mitigate risks and improve overall safety performance.
Safety Communication:
• Facilitate regular safety meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and address safety concerns.
• Promote a culture of open communication regarding safety matters at all levels of the organization.
Safety Data Analysis:
• Analyze safety data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide regular reports on safety performance to management and recommend enhancements.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management:
• Ensure the proper selection, use, and maintenance of PPE in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Conduct training on the correct use of PPE.
